When you're 23
It's easy to get caught up in comparisons
Life becomes a competition titled: Who Can Get Their Shit Together First.
And that sure as hell isn't you
But you see the runners getting close to the finish line
And wonder why that isn't you.
In reality there's no medal to be won
It's the journey, right?
Being 23 is about leaning into the discomfort of uncertainty
Embracing the what ifs
The possibilities that your twenties offers
Because do you really want "get there" at 23?
I try and remind myself not to get so caught up
There's too much life left to explore.
